Clive Palmer launches ANOTHER legal action against WA
Clive Palmer has launched yet another lawsuit against the Western Australian government, this time suing the state for “unconscionable conduct”.
The claim for unconscionable conduct was lodged in the Federal Court, with Mr Palmer claiming damages caused by the McGowan Government’s emergency legislation which removed the rights his companies to compensation under the Mineralogy iron ore state agreement.
Nine News Perth’s Gary Adshead told Gareth Parker Mr Palmer is now seeking additional damages, on top of the approximately $30 billion he is suing for.
