Australian Businessman Clive Palmer, who is currently taking the State of WA to task, has signed up as a member of the South of Perth Yacht Club.

“He (Palmer) applied for his membership about three months ago and the process went through,” South of Perth Yacht Club commodore, John Midolo told 6PR Breakfast.

“I don’t know his personal background but I know his children are quite keen to sail out of South Perth; I believe he’s bought a house around the corner from the club and he was was quite keen to get his kids involved in the junior sailing which is quite important to us.”
