Mining billionaire Clive Palmer will spend $2 million promoting the No vote in a last-minute advertising blitz.

Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister Patrick Gorman told Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live that Palmer’s donation was strange even by Clive’s standards.

“I’m not surprised he’s spending the money, what I do think is a bit interesting though is why has he left it so late to tell everyone,” Gorman said.
