Beachgoers in Cottesloe received a shock on Sunday morning when they found parking tickets on their windshields – but they were far from your average fines.

Fashion rental platform One Wardrobe is behind the guerrilla marketing campaign where its staff placed fake parking tickets on parked cars, citing it was an ‘offence’ to overconsume fast fashion.

“We wanted to create something fun and memorable that disrupted a usual morning at the beach inviting people to rethink how they approach fashion,” founder Brittany Wheeler told Perth Live host Oliver Peterson.
