Community groups are continuing to fight a marina at Ocean Reef – despite construction beginning on the project.

The development will see a-thousand residential dwellings built as well as a large public space including Perth’s first seawater pool.

Jeff Fondacaro from the Save Ocean Reef Group says the marina needs an upgrade, but any further development will be a disaster for the local environment.
