There’s concern the number of high-risk asylum seekers released into the community could soon double to 300.

As Federal politics Editor Michael Pachi pointed out on 6PR Mornings, 151 asylum seekers have already been allowed out, and the Opposition’s Dan Tehan believes another 150 are in the pipeline.

“The Albanese Government admits the High Court ruling against indefinite detention has upended Australia’s immigration policy,” Mr Pachi said.
