The Conservation Council of WA is calling for a full investigation and review of emergency response procedures after a mass fish kill off Coogee beach and the Omeo Wreck was reported in Perth’s south on Thursday.

Conservation Council of WA campaign director Mia Pepper spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Russell Collett and said the mass fish kill was like a “canary in the coal mine” – an indication that maybe some environmental issue had occurred.
