Australia has a real issue with pests destroying native wildlife. It has been suggested that humans should introduce these pests into their diets as a solution.

From cats to cane toads, 6PR Breakfast hosts Ian and Mike spoke to Tim Low, an Australian biologist from the Invasive Species Council, about the realities of eating introduced pests.

“People have in fact been eating millions of rabbits back in the 1920s and so on, and it certainly didn’t stop the rabbit plague, so it is pretty hard to find examples where it works,” he said.
