A unique plant at the Sydney Botanic Gardens has attracted huge crowds and gained attention on social media over the past few days.

The rare Amorphophallus titanium, more commonly known as the ‘Corpse Flower’ has been named ‘Putricia’ by fans, a homage to its unique smell, which is akin to rotting flesh.

6PR’s Resident Gardener, Sue McDougall joined Perth Today to discuss whether a corpse flower could survive the Perth climate.
