A report tabled in WA Parliament has alleged the boss of the WA Corruption and Crime Commission team coordinating its network of sources had a sexual relationship with a source and fed them confidential information.

The woman’s alleged misconduct spanned a three-year period from 2022.

CCC Joint Standing Committee chair Matthew Hughes has told parliament the accusations of misconduct levelled against the woman are extremely serious and a gross breach of trust.

CCC Commissioner John McKechnie expressed his frustration to Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings, saying there was clear failure of responsiblility that lead to the incident.
