COVID-19 restrictions sees the price of meth triple in Perth
The coronavirus pandemic has changed the behaviours of WA drug addicts.
Research by the Australian Institute of Criminology has found methamphetamine supply in Perth has decreased since the introduction of COVID-19 restrictions and WA’s hard border closure.
The AIC’s Tom Sullivan says the price of meth tripled in the space of a few months, making it unaffordable for many users.
