Now, Danielle Laidley is bearing it all and sharing her lifelong battle with gender dysphoria in a new documentary Danielle Laidley: Two Tribes.

Ms Laidley told Michael Thomson on 6PR Mornings the documentary is a raw look into her life.

“It certainly shows my football career, but it also shows another side of my life which no one knew about,” Ms Laidley said.

Danielle Laidley: Two Tribes will premiere Tuesday September 19 on Stan.
