A state parliament committee released its final report with 21 recommendations to improve options for survivors of institutional child abuse. 

Dave Kelly, committee member and MP, spoke to 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead arguing that a number of school leaders from Christian Brothers schools had a moral responsibility to actively reach out to past students and ask them if they want to raise allegations of abuse.

“If they don’t they are just another in a long line of catholic leaders who have tried to cover this up,” he said.
