The musician who brought us the hit 70s song Suburban Boy, has released an album of 50 footy-themed songs.

Dave Warner has dropped an album online featuring songs about legends of the game and different AFL clubs.

“I really wanted to write an anthem for the Western Derby; that one’s got an anthetic feel and there are a few like that.

“But we also thought we’d chuck in some dance songs for that moment after the game when you want to have some fun and they’ve played the club song and you still want to keep partying,” Warner told 6PR Breakfast.
