David Jones secures major ad partnerships to turbocharge revenue
Department store David Jones aims to boost revenue by $35 million annually with new advertising partnerships including Jaguar Land Rover, Destination Canada, and Regent Cruises.
Director at Retail Oasis Trent Rigby told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons, “Regardless of where you shop, they’ve got a wealth of your customer data and what they’re doing is selling that back to advertisers to better target the ads.”
“They’re creating a better experience for shoppers.”
“The argument is they’re going to advertise to you regardless, but what they’re doing is using the aggregate shopper and consumer data to better target you as a consumer,” Mr Rigby said.
