David Mundy: ‘That was absolutely deplorable to watch’
Fremantle’s favourite son has painfully expressed his disappointment in an under-performing Dockers team after their belting at the hands of Carlton yesterday.
Speaking with Adam Papalia on Wide World of Sports on Monday night, David Mundy spoke of his disappointment in the Dockers’ performance.
“That third quarter was absolutely deplorable to watch. There was arguing between each other, and heads down after goals.”

Mundy was also perplexed at losing the battle on which the club bases their game.
“They were annihilated in clearance and contested possession which has been their blueprint all year.”
Mundy’s appraisal of Fremantle even drew a heartbreaking response from a passionate, yet understanding, purple fan.
“Can you pls ask David Mundy… Does he feel disloyal talking about the Dockers like that. I’m not saying it’s not true. It just sort of breaks my heart hearing him talking about his team like that. I know it’s his job. I know it’s true. It’s just sad! 💜”
The Dockers travel to the MCG to take on Collingwood on Saturday to try and turn their season around.
