Departing St John’s CEO a ‘scapegoat’ for McGowan government failings
The state opposition has said departing St John’s Ambulance CEO Michelle Fyfe has been used as a scapegoat by the McGowan government for their own failings.
Opposition health spokesperson Libby Mettam said it was time the government accepted some of the blame for the state’s ambulance shortage and ramping issues.
“What we would like to see is the McGowan government step up,” she told Liam Bartlett on 6PR Mornings.
“Where are the KPIs for them, they had a big role to play in the demise of the CEO of St John’s.”
