5:31 pm – DFES Incident Controller Clinton Kuchel provided an update on 6PR’s Perth Live.

Earlier – 

Firefighters are actively fighting at least five separate blazes burning in Kings Park.

The fire has been escalated to a watch and act and the park is now closed.

A bushfire advice alert has been issued for the surrounding areas in the City of Subiaco and motorists are being urged to drive carefully along the roads surrounding the park.
