Experts raise concerns about a social media ban, suggesting that the legislation could have unexpected repercussions.

Sunita Bose from The Digital Industry Group explains to 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Mark why the industry believes this legislation shouldn’t be rushed through Parliament.
“There’s a risk now with a ban on such mainstream platforms that we create unintended consequences, where we push young people who are determined to get online onto the dark web, cutting off their connections and access to mental health support,” she said.
