Do you remembering the old, Cottesloe Oceanarium?
In the late 1960’s an ocean aquarium was opened up on the coast of Cottesloe, hosting an array of sea animals including a grey nurse shark. The facility was only opened for five years and now researchers are struggling to find any photographic or historic remnants of the Cott icon.
Sindy Dowden is a Community History Librarian who has done a mountain of work organising and rolling out a heritage walking trail around Cottesloe and the surrounding suburbs, and is asking for any photos or images that she can use of the Cottesloe Oceanarium!
