Australia is facing a “harmful sexual socialisation of an entire generation” if unlimited access to online pornography by children is not urgently reversed, with the Albanese government giving tech companies a six-month deadline to act or face forced regulation.

Professor of Sociology at the Queensland University of Technology Dr Michael Flood joined 6PR Mornings to discuss the potential government regulation of children’s access to online pornography.

“It can shape their attitudes and behaviours, in ways that we are increasingly troubled about,” Flood said on 6PR Mornings.
