‘Doesn’t work’: Calls for food warning labels to be mandated
Experts are calling for warning labels to be put on unhealthy food packaging to help Australians make healthier choices.
This comes after a new report found that people were less likely to buy foods with large warning labels.
Deakin University, Professor of Marketing Chris Dubelaar told 6PR Afternoons warning labels should be mandatory.
“The current food label system… doesn’t work,” said Professor Dubelaar.
