Donald Trump tests positive to COVID-19
US President Donald Trump and the First Lady have tested positive to coronavirus.
The US president tweeted the news on Friday afternoon (Australian time).
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

The news comes after one of Trump’s advisers, Hope Hicks, tested positive earlier in the day. She had travelled with the President multiple times during the week.
Sky News Australia reporter, Annelise Neilson, gave Oliver Peterson the latest from the United States.
“The big question here is, Donald Trump is in his 70s, he’s a high risk category – as is Joe Biden,” said Ms Neilson.
“They just spent 90 minutes on stage together not wearing masks and talking.
“They’re going to have to suspect Joe Biden might have been exposed.”
