With the total solar eclipse set to darken skies tomorrow, scientists are urging viewers to not do the obvious and stare right at the sun.

UWA Research Associate from the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research Doctor Robin Cooke told Millsy and Karl there will be a range of “spectacular” solar and lunar events in the near future, including this week.

“Total solar eclipses themselves are a very rare phenomenon, people travel across the world to see these things,” Dr Cooke said.
