Drug arrests and seizures in Australia have hit record highs – as international cartels saturate the market. An Australian Crime Commission report to be released today shows a drug arrest was made every six minutes in the last financial year – up 22 percent on five years ago. 

Gary Adshead spoke to Minister for Justice Michael Keenean about the governments plan to combat the distribution of illicit drugs.
