Trevor Nisbett has not buckled to pressure, firmly establishing the apparent solidarity of the Eagles’ players and executive board.

The West Coast CEO appeared live in the 6PR Breakfast studio to defend both his and the club’s decision to keep their status quo despite only two wins so far in the 2023 season.

“We’re really disappointed with the reports [on apparent board meetings at Eagles HQ] because they’re not factual,” Mr Nisbett said.

“The circumstances are what they are; you can easily just look at the record, but there’s a lot that [Adam] Simpson’s had to deal with that is exceptional.”
