West Coast defender Liam Duggan says the playing group can hold their heads high after a 47-point loss to Geelong at the Adelaide Oval.

The undermanned Eagles stared down the barrel of a massive margin after conceding 14 first quarter goals but were able to fight back and reduce the damage in the second half.

Duggan told the 6PR Football team that he’s proud of his team’s effort.

“A disappointing finish to the day but a lot of resilience shown which we’re proud of.”
