The Eagles are facing a major injury crisis with up to seven players seriously injured during Sunday’s clash against the Dockers.

Forward Jamie Cripps will undergo surgery tomorrow for a broken ankle and has been ruled out for at least four months.

Jeremy McGovern is still waiting for results for a serious hamstring injury, while captain Luke Shuey will face a short-term recovery after suffering a minor hamstring injury.

Adam Papalia also revealed Nic Naitanui is battling an insertion achilles tendonitis and may be ruled out for the entire season.

David Mundy told Adam Papalia on WWOS this is a tough blow for the Eagles.
