Eagles legend Glen Jakovich says Adam Simpson’s time as head coach should come to an end, following the side’s 116-point loss to Hawthorn in Launceston.

The result was their biggest defeat to the Hawks, and the fifth biggest loss in the club’s 36-year history. Jakovich says it’s the worst he has ever seen the Eagles and the time has come to make a change.

“Something has to give, that cannot continue” Jakovich said.
