Eagles captain Luke Shuey has been plagued by injuries again but is remaining optimistic his season is not over.

After two weeks off with a hamstring injury, Shuey suffered an ankle injury during the Eagles’ clash with Port Adelaide which also flared tendonitis in his hamstring.

However, despite the growing injury list, Shuey told Adam Papalia on WWOS he is confident the Eagles can turn things around.

“I’ve had many years of good luck… it’s just part of the game,” said Shuey.

“There’s a lot of people worse off in the world than me mate, I can’t complain.”
