West Coast skipper Luke Shuey says he’s still feeling overwhelming support from members and fans despite the team going through the worst on-field period in the club’s history.

The 32-year-old told Wide World of Sports’ Adam Papalia the Eagles’ faithful have been nothing but kind to him out in public.

“Our fans have been so good” said Shuey.

“I reckon I’ve been tapped on the shoulder 4 or 5 times this week just getting my morning flat white, being told how much we’re loved.”

Shuey has been forced to watch from the sidelines for much of the season, managing only 4 games, but is pushing to return for next week’s clash with Collingwood.
