Eat, sleep, repeat: The restaurant behind world’s first nap-inducing menu
A Sydney restaurant has broken a barrier we’re not sure would ever be broken by creating the first ever sleep-positive menu, urging eaters to not feel bad about passing out at the table.
Sleep Expert Deb Herdman told Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons there was a wide range of foods that caused you to get sleepy, including some you may not suspect.
“Some of the foods like whole milk, tuna, eggs, turkey, chicken, nuts and seeds can all increase melatonin levels in your body,” Ms Herdman said.
