The Matildas hype train is well and truly on track while the team prepare for what is sure to be a blockbuster against France.

Sam Kerr’s dad Roger shared his own excitement with Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfast, and addressed just how much attention has and is being paid to the soccer superstar’s calf.

“It’s the most talked-about calf in the world at the moment,” Mr Kerr said.

“She played 15 minutes in the last game, let’s hope she takes over the park in the next.”
