On Tuesday, Oliver Peterson broke the news a major summer series of events to be held in Northbridge was being cancelled over new WA Health Department requirements for “high-risk COVID events.

Today the promoter of Factory Summer Festival confirmed they were hoping to reschedule the acts on the December lineup to new dates in March and April 2021.

Co-Founder and Director of Bar Pop Chris Bausor told Peterson it’s difficult to run the event and meet the new Health Department requirements in regards to mosh pits and dance floors.

“It’s difficult with a festival like Factory Summer Festival, that’s so reliant on high energy performances, to get it off the ground in a reduced capacity is just not the same experience for the customers,” said Mr Bausor.

Current ticket holders who want a refund can apply up until Friday December 4 through the Eventbrite.
