Work environments have transformed rapidly over the last five years. Concepts like the right to disconnect, hybrid work arrangements, and the four-day work week are among the initiatives being trialled across various industries.

6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy spoke to workplace trends expert John Hopkins, from Swinburne’s School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship, about what the future holds and why workplaces remain in flux.

“Those boundaries don’t exist anymore, so more and more people are working, on average, about five additional unpaid hours per week because of the digital technologies we have,” he said.
