Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill has spoken out against the “extremist” actions of Disrupt Burrup protesters who attempted to demonstrate outside her home earlier this week.

Ms O’Neill told a group at a Business News-organised breakfast she had been left in fear following the intrusion.

“Actions like this only serve to distract from the real work that’s being done to undertake de-carbonisation,” Ms O’Neill said.

“I believe people should feel safe when going about their business at home or at work.”
