A review into WA’s public education system has reinforced the issues around the number of teachers leaving the sector.

The State School Teachers’ Union commissioned the review, with participants citing heavy workloads and increasingly complex classroom environments.

Report Chair Doctor Carmen Lawrence told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings 46 recommendations have been made.

“Not only is there an apparent increase in the bad behavior in the classroom, but also some parents overstep the mark and can become threatening and even aggressive,” Dr Lawrence said.
