Falling through the cracks: Why our domestic violence goals keep falling short
Another weekend of horrendous attacks against women has left federal politicians, experts and the public at large frustrated at thew lack of clear direction in the goal to curb domestic violence.
Greens Senator Dorinda Cox told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings the long-hard road of dealing with potential violence in men at early ages needs to remain the focus.
“We don’t want to have to continue filling our prisons,” Senator Cox said.
“We need this early intervention otherwise we will have a situation where every man who has been violent to a partner is being tracked.”
