One of the most dominating and intimidating cricketers of the modern game has been inducted into the WA Cricket Association’s Gallery of Greats, cementing his illustrious career.

Despite being from Townsville, Mitchell Johnson has called WA home for many years and draws his connection to the state back to being inspired by cricket legends of the previous generation.

“Driving a ute around Brisbane and doing plumbing, I never expected this,” Mr Johnson said.
