WA Liberal Leader Libby Mettam has come out swinging, announcing her aims to take down Roger Cook’s Labor Government in next year’s state election.

Ms Mettam has used the controversial changes to the Perth Women & Babies Hospital location as ammunition, pledging to strike ground in Nedlands rather than the currently-proposed Murdoch site.

“This mantra the government is wheeling out about [hospital construction] taking 20 years is just rubbish,” ms Mettam said.

“Their business case clearly states otherwise; it states a world-class facility could be built in Nedlands within ten years.”
