Flight Centre boss concerned over ‘lack of capacity’ for Christmas travellers
The travel industry is warning Australians will likely have trouble booking holidays over Christmas.
A lack of plane seats is already putting some countries off limits, with Christmas chaos expected.
Flight Centre Chief Executive Graham Turner told Gareth Parker that airlines are still dealing with significant capacity issues.
“Domestically, it’s not too bad generally,” he said on 6PR Breakfast.
“But internationally, we still only have just over 50% of our pre-covid capacity flying out of Australia at the moment,
“That’s the main problem.”
