There’s plenty of Royal watchers flocking to Buckingham Palace to day in the lead-up to the Coronation, and some are very willing to share just how much the whole thing means to them.

Mary-Jane Willows has made a habit of camping out at the site for royal occasions,  having been on-site for the Queen’s funeral and the transition to King Charles – and now the Coronation.

“I had the absolute honour and privilege to speak to the now-Duchess of Edinburgh for quite a length of time, and I will treasure that forever,” Ms Willows said.

“We’ve looked forward to this for so long; he’s going to take the role very seriously, but I hope when he comes out for his first balcony appearance he can take a big sigh of relief.”
