Former WA Treasurer Troy Buswell charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice
Former WA Treasurer and Liberal leader Troy Buswell has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice following a police investigation.
The 55-year-old is alleged to have made contact with a complainant in a family violence court case on August 20 in which he is the accused.
The former politician is now in custody and will appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court this morning.

6PR/9News reporter, Jake Battrick told Oliver Peterson Mr Buswell was granted bail.
“He’s out on bail on a $50,000 personal undertaking, and another $50,000 surety which hasn’t arrived yet,” he said.
