The wild weather from a once-a-year storm has created dangerous conditions on our the roads, with debris, flooding and bins in some areas flying down streets.

Western Power said on Tuesday morning more than 32,000 customers across the state are currently without power, with wind gusts reaching 117kmh in Bickley overnight, and 135kmh in Leeuwin.

9 News Perth reporter Ashtyn Hiren told 6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker it was “weather mayhem” at popular Port Beach in Port Leighton.

“If you can avoid being by the coast, I would highly recommend it. We just got hit by a big round of hail and sideways rain,” she told Parker.
