Big Little Lies and best-selling author Liane Moriarty has just released another book, taking readers on a journey of life exploring free will, destiny, and love.

But Ms Moriarty told Jamie Burnett on 6PR Weekends she doesn’t believe in fate.

“It’s really lovely idea to think about for happy things…. where it doesn’t work for me is when you hear terrible stories,” said Ms Moriarty.

” I think we’ve all got free will to stop that from happening I don’t like the idea of everything being pre-destined.”
