Hundreds of friends and family and members of the general public braved the cold to come together and commemorate the lives of the 16 West Australians killed in the Bali bombings 20 years ago.

6PR reporter Erin Harwood was at the Bali Memorial in Kings Park where an official service to mark the 20-year anniversary of the attacks began at 5.30am, and she told Gareth Parker on 6PR Breakfast it was a beautiful service.

“It’s been a beautiful morning here … remembering the 202 people that died, 88 Australians and in particular the 16 West Australians,” she said.
