Freo take down the Power
The Fremantle Dockers are back in winning form after claiming a nine-point win over depleted Port Adelaide side at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
The Power lost Paddy Ryder in the second quarter with a groin injury and Robbie Gray was sidelined with concussion after a tackle from Ryan Nyhuis in the third quarter, but it didn’t stop the Power from fighting on, but Brennan Cox broke a goal drought for the game and lead his Dockers to the 8.11 (59) to 7.8 (50) win.
Robbie Gray is conscious but being taken off the ground in a stretcher.

A goal for Mundy
“Jones and Darcy, the way they’re working to the front of the contest is the reason Mundy kicked that goal,” Jako #AFLFreoPower ⚓46💡30— 6PR Football (@6prfootball) July 15, 2018
Hear how the game played out…
“We just had to be a bit more flexible than we probably would’ve liked,” Tom Rockliff told 6PR after they lost Ryder and Robbie Gray.
“I had a quick chat to him [Gray], he can’t remember much about the incident,” Rockliff told 6PR’s commentary team.
“I thought we were a bit more brave taking a bit of ground tonight,” David Mundy told 6PR after the win.
“He’s going to miss some footy again unfortunately” Hinkley says about Paddy Ryder who injured his hip flexor. And he says the tackle on Robbie Gray didn’t look good.
“It’s a hard one, it’s exactly what you’re not meant to do, without wanting to get anyone in trouble.”
“Wins help, it fuels belief,” Ross Lyon says after the game.
“We know that they’ve got a really strong midfield group, so we’ve really got to be accountable through the middle,” Fremantle assistant coach Michael Prior told us before the game.
