Giants stamp a win over the Dockers
Greater Western Sydney convincingly defeated the Dockers by 31-points despite some surges from the Fremantle side.
Fremantle had an early lead with Brandon Matera, Aaron Sandilands and Stephen Hill all kicking goals in the first quarter, but the Giants came out stronger in the second quarter and held on for the 11.16 (82) to 7.9 (51) win.

Fremantle made a late change ahead of their clash; Darcy Tucker came into the 22 with Ed Langdon missing due to illness.

“Overall I think our effort was there, just lacked a bit of composure at times and they just showed us, if we made a mistake, how good they were,” Aaron Sandilands told 6PR.
“Just to get over the line shows that we’re maturing, we’re certainly growing after each week,” GWS’ Tim Taranto told 6PR after their win.
“It’s a fine line, at times I thought we were in it and then we were like a millions miles away,” Fremantle coach Ross Lyon told the media after the loss.
