Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart claims farmers and the agriculture sector cannot afford the transition to net zero, reaffirming her support for Australia to embrace nuclear energy at the 2023 Bush Summit. 

Nuclear for Australia founder William Shackel spoke with Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live and said the issue shouldn’t be politicised, arguing that many governments and business leaders support nuclear power as the future of energy,

“It’s time for the Government at the very least lift the ban, and maybe consider creating a civil nuclear power industry in this nation.”
