The brother of a man who was severely injured in a car explosion at a Booragoon lifestyle village on Wednesday has launched a Go Fund Me in an effort to raise funds for his long road to recovery.

Ryan Hawke, brother of Curtis Hawke, says Curtis has lost his right eye and remains in an induced coma.

“Finding out that he was still alive was a miracle,” Ryan told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast.

“The recovery is going to be a long period of time – I want to thank everyone for the support we’ve had so far.”
